Membership

The Membership Department at Tallcree Tribal Government is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for all Tallcree members. We follow the guidelines established by Indigenous Services Canada through the NTC Indian Registration Administrator (IRA) to ensure all documentation is handled properly and respectfully.

Our responsibilities include:

  • Registering births, marriages, and deaths
  • Processing legal name changes due to marriage or divorce
  • Managing transfers between First Nations
  • Issuing status cards to Nation members

These services support our members through all stages of life and help ensure each person’s information is properly recorded and recognized. Keeping our records organized and accurate helps us maintain strong connections across the Nation and uphold the integrity of our membership.

If you have questions or need assistance with membership services, our team is here to help.

Membership Forms and Support

We’ve created a few easy-to-use forms to help with common membership requests. Whether you’re registering a child born off reserve, requesting a name change, or updating your information, the best place to start is by downloading the form that fits your needs.

Completing the form ahead of time helps us stay organized and keeps the process moving along for everyone. Once it’s finished, you can submit it to the Membership Department along with any additional documents they may request.
If you’re unsure which form to use or have questions after reviewing it, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help.
